Andrea Pineda Gonzalez
Hello, my name is Andrea Pineda Gonzalez. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee under the clinical supervision of Bao Yang at Pacific Counseling Center. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Training Level 1, Gottman Treating Affairs and Trauma, Core Components and Skills for trauma-Informed Practice, Faith Integrated Substance Abuse Assessment Training, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect Mandated Reporter Training. I enjoy working with children, college students, young adults, first-generation individuals, and Spanish-speaking clients. I am especially passionate about supporting those experiencing depression, navigating life transitions, or exploring their identity and sense of self. I’m passionate about creating an environment that is welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental. My goal is to help clients have a better sense of self, help them explore their strengths, and make sure their story is voiced and heard. I believe therapy can help people better understand who they are, heal from difficult experiences, and feel supported through life’s challenges. Therapy provides a safe space to be vulnerable and have someone walk alongside you throughout your healing journey. I hold a BA in Liberal Studies and a BA in Spanish from Fresno Pacific University. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, ensuring that language is not a barrier to receiving quality mental health care. Whether you’re struggling with depression, navigating life transitions, or exploring your identity, I’m here to provide a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and work toward growth.
